A lot of things sound like foot steps but if they go on and on for hours no matter what there s a good chance that noise is something else. Like it s avoiding me i don t believe in ghosts and i drown out the sound of. So unless you re hearing ghostly footsteps across the floor. Then when i m upstairs i hear the exact same sounds downstairs.

I hear the footsteps as if they were running across the ceiling. I m alone upstairs and i hear downstairs what sounds like somebody walking around quietly. We banged the roof in the hope that whatever it is will scurry away but no luck. I have no idea what this is but i ve been hearing it for about a year.

I also just heard a bird. It goes on between 2 4am. It just keeps scratching just the roof space in our room only and no other part of the house. The funny thing is at night when i m downstairs i hear the quiet footsteps on carpet upstairs.
