He2 Plus Washer Door Locked

Check for foreign objects in the door lock receiver.

He2 plus washer door locked.

Timer does not decrement water does not enter. Kenmore he2 frontload washer. Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels. You can manually unlock the washer door by following these steps.

Then pull the door open. Pull the door open. Then reach inside the washer by the door lock and pull the manual release tab on the bottom of the lock. Remove the lower front panel from the front of the washer by removing the 3 screws in the bottom of it.

If door is locked drain the unit. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Start cycle causes door to lock but then nothing more.

Reach up behind the front panel and pull down on a pull ring that is attached to the bottom of the door lock mechanism to manually unlock the door. Remove the lower toe panel by removing the screws along the bottom edge. Ok check the door switch lock unit running the drain cycle. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.

This may reset the door lock it will release the door too. If the door lock receiver is clear check the wire harness connections between the door lock switch assembly and the main electronic control board. Clear any debris or objects from the receiver. Unplug the washer to completely disconnect electrical power.

Check all the green wires ground harnesses system are notbroken or wires detached. Remove lower cover and drain by opening the pump filter. Carefully reach up the inside of the front panel and pull the release tab on the bottom of the door lock assembly.
