Hail Damage To Slate Roof

Hail is frozen water propelled through the air by the force of wind and gravity and it can damage a slate roof upon impact.

This condition would be considered functional damage only if it were severe. Vermont slate hail proofroofs are warrantied against any size hail for the first 20 years and another 30 years for a hail of two inch diameter or less.
